Terms & Conditions

1. INTRODUCTION AND GOVERNING LAW

These are the Terms & Conditions of Sale applicable to all on-line purchases from ReelTackle,Australia.

These terms and the laws of Queensland, Australia, apply to all transactions for the purchase of products ("Products") from ReelTackle through its website at www.reeltackle.com.au and any associated web page ("the Site"). These terms represent the complete agreement between ReelTackle and the Buyer covering the purchase of Products from this site. Except for terms implied by applicable legislation, ReelTackle does not offer or agree to any conditions, warranties, guarantees or representations relating to the quality, description or performance characteristics of the Products other than those set out in these terms. The Buyer's completion of the order form on this site will constitute an offer to the Buyer to purchase Products (the "Order"). All Orders are subject to acceptance by ReelTackle.



2. PRICES

All prices appearing on this website are in Australian dollars (AUD).

The prices to be paid by the Buyer for all Products will be ReelTackle's current selling price on the date of receipt by ReelTackle of the Order, less any applicable discounts in effect at that time. All Orders will attract a delivery charge as displayed when checking out unless specifically marked as "Free Freight".

ReelTackle will not be responsible for errors in pricing that appear on the Site. ReelTackle will notify a Buyer in the event of a pricing error on the Site before an Order is delivered. The Buyer will have the opportunity to cancel their Order within a reasonable time.

ReelTackle reserves the right to change its prices from time to time without prior notice to the Buyer. All prices in this website include Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST) at 10%.

The GST payable by the Buyer will be shown on the invoice which ReelTackle will send to the Buyer. Delivery charges to the nominated address will be advised to the Buyer on the Checkout and Order confirmation pages of the Site.




3. STOCK AVAILABILITY

By purchasing from our website, the Buyer accepts that ReelTackle may not have all items in stock at the time of purchase and it is possible a delay of up to 14 days will be experienced in delivery of the Buyer's order. Occasionally, ReelTackle are unable to source items that are listed on this website, in which case the Buyer will be notified as soon as ReelTackle becomes aware of non-availability of the item and the full amount paid by the Buyer for the item will be refunded. If the expected delivery time is likely to exceed 14 days, ReelTackle will contact the Buyer to advise of this.



4. ORDER ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND CANCELLATION

All Orders by the Buyer under this Agreement must be placed via the forms provided on this Site and must specify the information requested, including (but without limitation):

(a) Quantity and description of Products;
(b) The full street address to which the Product is to be delivered;

The Buyer must complete all information requested on the Order form before the Order is processed by ReelTackle.

ReelTackle will not accept orders:

(a) If the Buyer does not offer to pay by one of the payment methods listed in this website; or
(b) If the Buyer's credit card provider does not confirm the payment.

ReelTackle will send the Buyer an e-mail acknowledging the Products ordered as soon as possible after the Buyer places an Order. If ReelTackle does not accept the Buyer's Order for any reason, it will inform the Buyer by email in the same manner.

If the Buyer wishes to cancel an Order prior to shipment, the Buyer must contact ReelTackle Customer Service immediately on 0423 235291 and/or e-mail sales@reeltackle.com.au. ReelTackle will endeavour to accommodate the Buyer's request, if the merchandise has not been shipped.

If the Buyer's entire order is cancelled prior to shipment, ReelTackle will apply a credit to the Buyer's credit card and may also apply a cancellation fee equivalent to 10%.

If an Order has already shipped, ReelTackle's normal returns and exchanges procedure will apply.




5. DELIVERY

Shipment will occur as soon as the ordered items are in stock. A Buyer cannot arrange collection of Orders from ReelTackle either in person or via alternative courier.

The Buyer acknowledges that ReelTackle may, from time to time, be subject to production, delivery or other unforeseen delays and that ReelTackle may allocate distribution of Products ordered among its customers at its sole discretion.

If the Buyer's Order has not been delivered within a reasonable time, the Buyer should contact ReelTackle at sales@reeltackle.com.au.

If no one is available at the delivery address to receive the Products, ReelTackle's delivery agent will leave an "unable to deliver" card at the address and the Buyer should follow the directions on that card to obtain delivery of the Products. ReelTackle reserves the right to make partial delivery of an Order.




6. PAYMENT

Payment for Products purchased from ReelTackle via the Site can be made by Credit Card, Paypal, cheque, money order or direct bank deposit.

ReelTackle will verify the credit card information submitted by the Buyer and will advise the Buyer that the Order has been accepted. The Buyer agrees to submit to ReelTackle such information as may be reasonably requested by ReelTackle for the authorisation and verification of its credit card purchases.

ReelTackle reserves the right to exercise its lawful remedies if a dispute arises over payment through the Buyer's credit card provider. In particular, but without limitation, if the Buyer's credit card provider rejects a payment when due, ReelTackle at its discretion may delay or cancel delivery of Orders placed by the Buyer.

ReelTackle may also offset and deduct from any refund due to the Buyer all sums owed by the Buyer to ReelTackle. If the Buyer's account is placed in collection, ReelTackle will be entitled to claim all reasonable expenses for collection, including legal fees incurred in connection therewith.




7. RETURNS

7.1 Defective Items and Warranties

All parts are covered only by manufacturer’s warranties and/or guarantees.

If an item arrives in not new condition as a result of a manufacturer defect, or a defect occurs during the intended use of the product, please contact us on 0423 235291 for further information.

ReelTackle does not reimburse for labour, incidental, or any other costs related to the installation of products under any circumstance.


7.2 Incorrect Supply of Order

If, due to a warehouse or other error on the part of ReelTackle, the Buyer receives a Product which does not conform to its Order, the Buyer must contact ReelTackle within seven days of receipt of the Product and complete a Return Request. On approval of the Return Request and receipt of the incorrect Product back into ReelTackle;s store, the correct Product will be posted to the Buyer at no extra cost to the Buyer. Postage for return of the incorrect Product and for supply of the correct Product to the Buyer will be paid by ReelTackle. The incorrect Product must be returned in new condition in its original packaging and unopened.


7.3 Incorrect Part Ordered by the Buyer Or Change Of Mind Purchases
If the incorrect Product is ordered by the Buyer, the Buyer must contact ReelTackle within seven days of receipt of the Product and complete a Return Request. On approval of the Return Request and receipt of the incorrect Product back into ReelTackle's store, ReelTackle will refund the price paid for the Product. Postage for return of the incorrect Product will be paid by the Buyer. The incorrect Product must be returned in new condition in its original packaging and unopened. If a replacement Product is required, the Buyer may complete a new Order for the correct Product and the new Order will be treated as a separate and new transaction.
ReelTackle is not obliged to refund any monies where the Buyer has changed their mind on their purchase.
Goods ordered in to complete an order that are returned to the wholesaler due to an incorrect order or change of mind order by the customer will incur a restocking fee of 15% to ReelTackle.
This fee will vary from business to business and will be fully charged to the customer including any freight charges and bank charges. 

7.4 Damaged Shipments

All packages should be completely inspected at the time of delivery. Damaged packages should be refused. Please then call the freight company or Australia Post (whoever is responsible for the package) and report the damage. After contacting the carrier, please call ReelTackle on 0423 235291 for further assistance with the damaged shipment, and to make arrangements for a replacement.


7.5 Customised Items

Customised items are not returnable under any circumstances.


7.6 How to complete Return Request

Log on to your account on our website.
Click on "Orders" in the Cart box on the right of the page.
Click on the order id that contains the item you want to return.
At the top right of the invoice, click on "Request a refund/return products here".
Check the box next to the item you want to return and choose a reason from the drop down box.
Choose whether you want a replacement or a refund.
Submit your request.

We will respond to your request as soon as possible.




8 FREIGHT METHODS

ReelTackle will arrange delivery of all Products to the Customer using its nominated freight carriers. A Buyer may not arrange its own courier to collect the Products from ReelTackle unless prior arrangements have been made with ReelTackle.


To find out how much postage/shipping will be, add the product(s) you want to purchase to your shopping cart. You can then "View Cart" and you are able to calculate postage on the Cart page. If you have any problems, please contact us.

Australia Post - Where possible, for orders up to 20kg in actual or cubic weight (whichever is the highest), we use Australia Post for delivery.


We also use E-Go couriers for heavy,bulky or odd shaped items like fishing rods.
Signature is required on receipt/collection of goods – goods will not be left unattended at any premises.


If the freight cost is higher than the estimated price at checkout we may contact you and inform you of the actual cost and allow you to decide if you would like to pay the extra cost or negotiate a refund.

Your order may be tracked online at http://auspost.com.au/track/ or https://www.e-go.com.au and you can keep track of your parcel every step of the way from us to you. Once we have posted your order to you, you can find out your tracking number by logging in to your account on our website.

Your tracking number will also appear in the email we will send you when your order has been completed.



9 RETENTION OF TITLE

The Products and any other goods delivered by ReelTackle to the Buyer shall remain the sole and absolute property of ReelTackle as legal and equitable owner until such time as all money due to ReelTackle has been paid but shall be at the Buyer's risk from the time of delivery.




10 DISCLAIMER

All information, services, products, and materials contained in this site, including text, graphics, and links, are provided on an "as is" basis with no warranty. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReelTackle disclaims all representations and warranties, express or implied, with respect to such information, services, products and materials, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, freedom from computer virus, and implied warranties arising from course of dealing or course of performance. In addition, ReelTackle does not represent or warrant that the information accessible via this site is accurate, complete or current. Price and availability information is subject to change without notice.

This site may include links to other sites on the Internet that are owned and operated by third party vendors and other third parties ("the external sites"). You agree that ReelTackle is not responsible for the availability of, or the content located on or through, any external site. You should contact the site administrator or webmaster for those external sites if you have any concerns regarding such links or the content located on such external sites.
