Ordering & Payments


1.1 Why create an account

If you create an account, you can save your purchases in your cart, leave our site and log in later to complete your order.Your details are saved which means next time you purchase you won't have to enter your information again. If you create an account, you can view your order progress status, tracking number and order history.

Once you create an account, you will receive our regular newsletter notifying you of all promotions and new products.

If you create an account you can put items in your wish list and receive notification if those items come on special.

1.2 Updating and viewing your account details

To view or update your account details, log in to your account by selecting "My Account". Here you can change your account information, billing and delivery addresses or change your password. If you have forgotten your password, you will be given the option of having it emailed to you.
Please keep your account details up to date.

1.3 Order history and delivery status

Log in into your account by entering your email address and password. Select "My Orders" and you can then view all of your orders, including tracking numbers and status and you can also view your "Wish List".


2.1 Placing An Order

You can search for products by description, brand or text. We have included links to various manufacturers' application charts to enable you to search for the correct parts. These may include .pdf documents (you will need Adobe Reader to read these).
We have provided these links in good faith but have no input into their content and take no responsibility for any incorrect information.

2.2 Stock Availability

While we keep most common items in stock, we do not keep in stock all the products listed on our website. In most cases, we can get items in within one or two days. There are some products which will take ten days to a fortnight to get into store.

We have included this statement in the details of any products which could take an extended time to receive into store.

If you are concerned there may be a delay with your order, please contact us before completing your order.

The fact that we have an item listed for sale on our site does not guarantee its availability. We have listed all products based on information given to us by our suppliers/wholesalers but occasionally a item or part is out of production or not available for various reasons. If you place an order for a item or part that we are unable to source, we will contact you as soon as we become aware of this and will give you the option of a refund or other goods to the same value. We will do our utmost to try and source the item you are looking for and will keep you informed of our progress.

3 Payment Methods

Our site uses 100% secure up to 256 bit encryption. You can see the padlock in the page once you commence the checkout procedure.

Use any of the following easy payment methods.

3.1 Credit Card Payments

We use PayPal as our Credit Card processor.
Select the Credit Card option at the Check-Out and you will be directed to enter you card details for offline processing.
We process your card offline manually.

3.2 PayPal Payments
With PayPal, you can send payments through the Internet. If you have a PayPal account, you can send money to us using the money from your PayPal balance or another funding option of your choice, such as a credit card or a nominated bank account.

Simply click on the PayPal button at the end of the Check-Out procedure and follow the directions given there.

If you do not have a PayPal account follow the instructions to open one.

3.3 Cheque Payments

At the end of the Check-Out procedure, print out your order details and send them together with a cheque to:

3.4 Electronic Funds Transfer (Direct Deposit)

Use Internet Banking to make a direct deposit into our bank account.

Once payment is made, please email your receipt, together with your order summary to reeltackle@live.com.

Your order will be processed once your payment clears through into our banking account.
Please allow 3 business working days for the transfer to complete.
Our payment details will be available as you complete the checkout and are also listed below.

4.1 Shipping Methods (Australia)

To find out how much postage/shipping will be, add the product(s) you want to purchase to your shopping cart. You can then "View Cart" and you are able to calculate postage on the Cart page. If you have any problems, please contact us.

Australia Post - Where possible, for orders up to 20kg in actual or cubic weight (whichever is the highest), we use Australia Post for delivery.

We also use E-Go couriers for heavy,bulky or odd shaped items like fishing rods.
Signature is required on receipt/collection of goods – goods will not be left unattended at any premises.

If the freight cost is higher than the estimated price at checkout we may contact you and inform you of the actual cost and allow you to decide if you would like to pay the extra cost or negotiate a refund.

Your order may be tracked online at http://auspost.com.au/track/ or https://www.e-go.com.au and you can keep track of your parcel every step of the way from us to you. Once we have posted your order to you, you can find out your tracking number by logging in to your account on our website.

Your tracking number will also appear in the email we will send you when your order has been completed.

4.2 Shipping Methods (Hazardous Chemicals)

At this point in time no Hazardous chemicals will be shipped but we will allow direct pickup with prior arrangement.

4.3 Shipping Methods (International)

In most cases for heavy orders the postage cost for international purchases is prohibitive. However, for international orders we offer Australia Post International Sea Mail, Australia Post International Airmail, Express Post International or Express Courier International.

PLEASE NOTE that both international sea mail and international air mail are not able to be tracked. By choosing this method, you accept that ReelTackle has no responsibility beyond delivering your parcel to its local Post Office and, if the parcel does not arrive at its destination, you accept all responsibility for locating the parcel in your country.

Both Express Post International and Express Courier International are able to be tracked online and we strongly recommend you choose one of these options for delivery of your parcel.

In some instances, the weights on our website are not correct as we have not had the product in stock or have not had the opportunity to check the weight. We are able to absorb a small increase in the postage cost but if the postage cost is going to be substantially more than has been calculated in our shopping cart, we will contact you with the option of paying the extra postage or cancelling your order.

Any extra duties or taxes applied or payable outside of Australia are the responsibility of the buyer and are to be paid by the buyer.
